Early Childhood Center

Welcome to Champions at Lisbon Early Childhood Center (LECC). Our year-round Early Childhood Programs are part of the Lisbon Community School District.

Our goal is to provide high-quality care and an environment where learning is fun. We focus on the emotional, physical, social, and mental development of each individual child. Champions at LECC works closely with Lisbon Community Schools to provide a smooth transition from early childhood to preschool to kindergarten, as well as accommodating wrap-around care for school-age children up to the age of 12.

Our Programs

  • Creative Beginnings (Infant Program)
    • 6 weeks up to 12 months
    • 1:4 teacher to student ratio
  • Early Learners (Young Toddler Program)
    • 10 months up to 18 months
    • 1:4 teacher to student ratio
  • Little Leaps (Older Toddler Program)
    • 16 months up to 28 months
    • 1:4 teacher to student ratio
  • Explorers (Two Year Old Program)
    • 24 months up to 36 months
    • 1:7 teacher to student ratio
  • Discoverers/Adventurers (Three and Four Year Old Program)
    • 36 months until beginning 4-year-old preschool
    • 1:10 teacher to student ratio
  • Pathfinders (Lisbon School District Four Year Old Preschool Students)
    • Wraparound care for students in 4-year-old preschool
    • 1:12 teacher to student ratio
  • Three Year Old PreSchool Only
    • Must be 3 years old by September 15th of desired school year
    • Two days per week, following the Lisbon Community School District Calendar - Monday and Thursday, or Tuesday and Friday, 8:15 am - 11:15 am
    • Half day programming with flexibilty to meet your families needs

My kids have been attending LECC since the spring of 2019. We previously were at an in-home provider, and now I can't imagine them attending any other daycare besides LECC. Every teacher my kids have had cares greatly about each child, listens to concerns, and works with us to provide the best care for our kids. Their hours fit my work schedule, and now that my oldest is in school I don't need to worry about who will pick him up or take him after class — LECC takes care of that all for me with the before and after school program. I jokingly refer to LECC as the third parent in our family — but it's true because I fully trust LECC with my kids and their care.
